This chart shows the estimated % of alcohol in the blood by number of drinks in relation to body weight.

This percent can be estimated by:

1. Count how many drinks you have had (1 drink = approx. 1 ounce of 100-proof liquor, one 5 oz glass of wine, or one 12-ounce bottle/can of regular beer).

2. Using the chart below, find your body weight and number of drinks consumed. Where the body weight row and drinks column meet, find the percent of blood alcohol listed.

3. Subtract from this number .015 for every hour elapsed since your first drink. This is the percent of alcohol "burned up" by your body.
(Example: 200 lb. man - 8 drinks in 4 hours / .150% minus (.015x4) = .09 %
